Uganda Cranes’ Head Coach Milutin Sredojevic alias Micho, has named the provisional squad for the upcoming match against Group F leaders Algeria in Douala City, Cameroon.
The squad consists of 42 players, with 18 of them representing foreign clubs and 24 playing locally.
On June 18, the Cranes will face the Desert Foxes in Cameroon, seeking a victory to boost their chances in Group F.
With four points, Uganda is currently tied with Tanzania in the group standings. Algeria, already qualified, leads Group F with an impressive 12 points, while Niger occupies the bottom spot with two points.
In order to secure a spot in the AFCON finals in Ivory Coast, Uganda must triumph over both Algeria and Niger. Meanwhile, Tanzania will face Niger at home and Algeria away in their remaining matches.
