Metropolitan International University (MIU) celebrates it’s 5th Graduation ceremony today 24th, February, 2023 at 8:00 am at the main campus Kisoro municipality, Kisoro district for the conferment of degrees and award of diplomas and certificates.

Over 1000 students are graduating in different academic fields according to the Vice Chancellor. Dr. Arinaitwe Julius. PhD. BCOM( Muk), CPA(K), PGDE(UCU), MED(KAB),PhD(Edu).

The graduation ceremony is under a theme “stakeholders’ engagements, a cornerstone for the effective higher education service delivery in the 21st century”

It is a private university that was established by the National Council for Higher Education in November 2016, in accordance with the laws of Uganda.

MIU is accredited to run academic programmes at all levels of the Higher education system.

On this ceremony the journalism students have taken their oath so as to fulfill their obligations as journalists in the field.
