It was a new brighter day for Metrine Khisa after being crowned Miss Kampala International University (KIU) 2014 on Friday 5th September.
The 23 year old Metrine won herself a car (Toyota Duet), a fully paid up scholarship for one year among other prizes.
Matrine is studying a degree course in Business Administration at KIU main Campus located at Kansanga.
Matrine beat 9 other beauty contestants who had made it to Miss Kampala International University grand finale.
The crowning was based on fashion styles and personal talents that were showcased. Among the fashion styles showcased were:

Nakiwala Kiyingi, the Ugandan Ambassador to Thailand was the chief guest at the crowning of Miss KIU 2014.
