How the time flies! Not long ago Uganda embraced the fame of producing Miss World Africa 2018, Quiin Abenakyo at the Miss World Beauty Pageant 2018 in China.

Abenakyo who was crowned Miss Uganda 2019 broke the records when she became the first Ugandan to reach the finals in the pageant emerging the 2nd Runner-Up overall.

Uganda is at it yet again. Possibly the next Miss Uganda will not only borrow a leaf but some branches from her predecessor and become Miss world 2019!

The beauty pageant contest that started on Tuesday is ongoing at the Kampala Sheraton hotel. A number of 22 contestants have been selected by the Chief executive officer, Ms Brenda Nanyonjo,  and former beauty queens including  Leah Kagasa, Phiona Bizzu, Sylvia Wilson Namutebi and Leah Kalanguka.
