Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) students lose property worth millions to power surge

Students of Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) over the weekend lost   electronic appliances valued at millions of shillings to a short circuit that gutted  hostels around the Campus in TASO village, Kashanyarazi.

TASO village accommodates almost 70% of Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) students.

The electricity volts started fluctuating on Friday, but not much attention was given to it until on Sunday morning when power increased beyond the usually where light were lighting beyond normal  destroying  student’s  electronic appliances such as, TVs, Phones, Laptops, fridges among others.

We  thank the Almighty God that no lives was claimed.
