Mbarara University of Science and Technology holds 13th Annual Research Dissemination Conference

Mbarara University of Science and Technology on Thursday, 9th November 2017 held its 13th Annual Research Dissemination at the Lake View Resort Hotel, Mbarara.

The conference was held under the theme “Turning Community Challenges into Opportunities through Research and Innovation” and organised by the university’s Faculty of Medicine.

The function was presided over by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic Affairs), Prof. Nixon Kamukama. The keynote address was presented by Dr. Michael Kansiime, the Head of the Secretariat of Africa Institute for Strategic Services and Development (AFRISA) at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources and Biosecurity (COVAB), Makerere University.

Researchers from within and outside the university presented recent research findings at the event which is held annually.
