Mbarara Love Overwhelms Kenzo And Adopts Tribe

We are living in very interesting times where people can choose their identities. Singer Eddy Kenzo, born Edirisa Musuza in Masaka, has now changed tribe.

He ceased to be a Muganda on Saturday, September 24, and labelled himself a Munyankole.

While performing at his Road to Kenzo Festival at University Inn in Mbarara on Saturday night, September 24, he announced: “From now on, I am officially a Munyankole.”

The announcement sparked off several conversations and debates. Some wondered whether he was yet to deal with hangover.

He explained his decision to “change tribes”.

During his performance, he had different breaks in which he would talk about numerous things ,but what caught the eye most was when he announced himself to be officially a Munyankole because of the love that fans in the Ankole region have shown him.

He particularly pointed out Twaha Kashaka, a Mbarara-based businessman and Toyota, President Yoweri Museveni’s brother. He referred to them as his brothers.
