In addition to the mayor’s contribution, Prof. Lubega shared that Nkumba University had received $250 from 8 Tech, a local company, as part of a pre-tournament pledge. “8 Tech promised $50 per goal, and I’m happy to announce that we’ve received the funds from Baker Sekitoleko, the Chief Operations Officer. He also committed to supporting the team in the future,” Lubega added.
