The graduation will take place for four days starting from Tuesday 16th to Friday 19, January 2018 according to a circular from the Office of the Vice Chancellor.
The acting Vice Chancellor, Prof William Bazeyo through a circular dated 13th December 2018 noted that Makerere university management is concerned that many prospective graduands have not cleared all university dues.
“I wish to urge all graduands to clear all their outstanding dues with the respective University offices to avoid disappointments”, the circular reads.
Prof. William Bazeyo warns that no debtor will be allowed to graduate and that there will be no addendum to the graduation booklet.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe said in a tweet that graduates will be able to get their academic transcripts on the day of graduation or even before the graduation date.
