The outgoing students were also joined by the continuing students who also had missing marks for last semester.
A source at the university told this reporter that the lecturers will sit on Tuesday to decide on whether to lay down their tools or try other means until the university effects the dismissal of Dr Robert Wamala.
Makerere University Statistics Students Association (MASSA) president,Thomas Nsubuga said that they have given the university management up to Wednesday to have their graduation list and results out, since other schools and colleges have already accessed theirs.
“The Vice chancellor in the letter dated June 1 wrote to all the principles and deans of schools requiring them to produce our graduation list by June 8. Other colleges and schools released, it is only our college which has not. So we are demanding that by Wednesday, the graduation list should be out as well as apologising to the students for the inconveniences caused,” Mr Nsubuga said.
He added that continuing students are not going to attend lectures until the results for last semester are out.
