Makerere University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Barnabus Nawangwe has said all 45 Lecturers who were recently sacked from the University are to refund the salaries.
In a press conference at the University, Prof. Nawangwe said the lecturers had not delivered and therefore no cause for a pay.
On December 22, 2018, Makerere expelled 45 lecturers over misuse of duty and failure to deliver.
However, the lecturers who felt that their rights were undermined by sacking them in absentia appealed to the speaker of parliament, Hon.Rebecca Kadaga.
