“I believe that alcohol is important for some people to create excitement, alcohol doesn’t make someone violent but finds a heart and mind of violence within someone,” a firm speaking Namulindwa said.
The only female candidate in the 2015/16 Makerere University guild race, Stellah Namulindwa made these remarks during the presidential guild debate on Urban TV when asked if she would eliminate “malwa culture” during campaigns as this is linked to violence.

The former St. Mary’s SS Kitende student argued that a little dose of liquor doesn’t hurt since the campaign trail comes once annually.

“I want alcohol there,” the 3rd year civil engineering student openly said in her characteristically polished accent.
