Makerere University Fees Structure for Undergraduate Courses 2016/2017

A look at the fees structure for Makerere university undergraduate courses for the academic year 2016/2017 shows that Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science is the most expensive course.

Ugandan and East African nationals including those from South Sudan pay 1,552,000 shillings per semester while International students pay 3,105,000 shillings.

This is on top of functional fees amounting to 618,500 shillings for Ugandan nationals and 1,114,000 shillings for International students.

Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Dental Surgery are the other expensive courses. Uganda Nationals pay 1,344,000 shillings per semester while international students pay 2,240,000 shillings.

The cheapest courses include Bachelor of Tourism (700,000 shs), Bachelor of Arts with Education at 672,000 shillings for Ugandan, E.African and South Sudan Nationals.
