Makerere University extends deadline for private admissions 2015/2016

Makerere University has extended the deadline for issuing and receiving of application forms for undergraduate programmes/courses under the private sponsorship scheme for academic year 2015/2016.

According to the Academic Registrar of Makerere University,  the deadline has been pushed from Friday 29th May, 2015 to Friday 5th June, 2015.

The application forms are collected from the tent opposite senate building, Makerere University on payment of a non-refundable application fee of ug.shs.50,000/= per form plus bank charge of shs.2,500/= from the following banks:

  • ANY STANBIC BANK BRANCH
  • dfcu BANK MAKERERE BRANCH
  • CENTENARY BANK
  • CRANE BANK

The academic registrar warned that there will be no issuing and receiving of application forms after 5th June, 2015.

Meanwhile for those who can not move to Makerere University to apply physically, there is an online application system that they can use to apply for a course at the oldest public university in Uganda.
