Makerere university Council suspends graduation fees increment

Makerere university council has canceled the plans of hiking graduation fees from 90,000/= to 22,000/= According to a circular from Vice Chancellor; Prof. John Ddumba Ssentamu to all students, the graduation fees shall remain at 90,000/=.

The circular read as follows; “Following consultation with the University Counci, the Chief Governing Body of Makerere university, management wishes to inform all students that the Graduation fee shall remain at UGX 90,000/=

Once again, the university management thanks the students guild for its efforts to ensure that the university runs smoothly and appeals to the student community to resume studies”, the circular read.
