Makerere university calls for more private applicants

2013-2014 Undergraduate Private Admissions

The academic registrar, Makerere university announces that there are slots for the following Undergraduate Courses under the private sponsorship scheme for the 2012/2013 academic year

Bachelor of Agricultural and Rural innovation/ External-BAX (150 Slots)
Bachelor of Dental Laboratory Technology-BDT (15 Slots)
Deadline: The closing date for submitting the completed Application Forms is Friday 14th  August, 2013. Each applicant should:
Either: Have the Uganda Certificate of Education with at least (five passes), or its equivalent and at least two principal passes at Advanced Level obtained at the same sitting. For day programmes, only candidates who sat “A” Level in 2011, 2010 and 2009 are eligible to apply.  For Evening, Afternoon, and External programmes, a candidate is not restricted on the year of sitting “A” Level.
Or.
Hold at least a Second Class or Credit (or equivalent classification) Diploma  from a recognised institution, relevant to the programmes applied for. ( Details of the Diploma Admission requirements for the 2012/2013 academic year can be viewed on the notice boards of the undergraduate admissions
office notice boards or on Makerere University website.
Or Be a Graduate from a recognised university.

WARNING: Applicants are strongly warned against presenting forged or other people’s academic documents to support their applications for admission.  The consequences, if discovered, are very grave indeed.

Philimon Badagawa is a multimedia journalist with skills in news gathering, packaging, editing and online publishing. He has knowledge in data visualization, can design and manage websites. He previously worked as a journalist with Observer media and authored several articles and stories. He does research, video & audio recording, editing and production for online publication. He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010). Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development.
