Match Notes
Makerere University Business School hosts Kampala University at the MUBS Arena seeking revenge for what happened in the East African University games in Dare salaam where MUBS was humbled on penalties un convincingly.
Both teams started the League on a high winning all the three matches against their various opponents.
Both teams did score twice in their last league fixtures, however KU thumped defending champions MUK 3-0 last week in the mouth watering clash, but MUBS were also equally impressive as they scored once against Ndejje on March 26.
It’s a greatly encouraging season for both the Universities as they do have the same points and the same goal differences but who so ever loses the tie will feel the impact of the slide of failing to maintain the 100% record with in the league.
Both teams tied with 9 points going into the game and thus on that statistic both teams evenly matched but remember MUBS have the home advantageTeam NewsMUBS will be confident of a home victory. Joachim Golooba and Maxwell Okello will lead the MUBS side in their quest to secure the top position.“I will do anything to change the dominion of KU; they are a good side “said MUBS coach Charles Ayiekoh. This game means a lot for us (MUBS) and every game is a final, I won’t forget what happened in Dare salaam where we lost on penalties to KU its pay back time Ayiekoh addedWhile their counter parts Kampala University will rely on the services of Mutyaba Muzamiru and Abel Etulude in the Midfield and Paul Musamali in the forwards to cause an upset in Nakawa.
