A total of 1,431 students graduated with Postgraduate Diplomas, Ordinary Diplomas and Certificates at the 13th Graduation Ceremony of Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
The Ceremony was held on On Friday, 25th May 2018 under the theme “Soft skills for business development”.
Prof. Ezra Suruma, the Chancellor Makerere University, presided over the function. He called upon the graduands to use the knowledge and skills gained from MUBS to contribute towards National development.
Mr. Patrick Mweheire, the CEO, Stanbic Bank who delivered a commencement speech encouraged graduands to have soft skills that will differentiate them from other students who graduate from other universities every year.
The Principal, Prof. Waswa Balunywa congratulated the graduands and encouraged them to think of advancing to Bachelors. He reminded them to always represent MUBS wherever they go and keep the MUBS flag flying high.
The function was also attended by the Vice Chancellor Makerere University, Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe, the 1st Deputy Mufti of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC), a team from Drake University led by Prof. Senteza, a team from ICT University led by Prof. Mbarika, among other dignitaries
