Makerere University 89th Guild Electoral Commission was inaugurated on march 01st 2023 at a meeting held at Senate Building. The meeting witnessed the election and swearing-in of the Chairperson, Mr. Levi Tshilumbanand the Vice Chairperson, Ms Naluzze Pamela Praise.

Aspirants were directed to rally for support virtually through online campaigns that kicked off the moment they were duly nominated.

The Dean of Students Ms Ms Winfred Kabumbuli presided over the elections and subsequently confirmed the winners as quoted in the letter below.

Together with other elected committee members, the duo was sworn in today at an inauguration meeting in the Senate Building.
