Henry Ssubi’s photo that went viral sparked immense support: Photo from Twitter

The once scorned and laughed at Makerere University fresher, Henry Ssuubi Kiyimba has reaped more than anticipated from the “shame plot”.

From a fully paid Makerere Engineering course from Joadah Consult, an engineering company in early August 2019 to education essentials like laptop and a smartphone.

Another blessing has just come in Suubi’s direction. The French embassy in Uganda has provided Kiyimba with a second scholarship to study the french language at the Alliance francaise Kampala.

The french ambassador in Uganda, H.E Jules Armand Aniambossou hosted the fresher on Wednesday August 21, 2019 to announce the offer.

H.E Aniambossou revealed that Makerere University Vice Chancellor Prof. Barnabus Nawangwe tweet helped the former understand Suubi’s Predicament.

Kiyimba expressed gratitude towards the embassy’s generosity and he is to report any day to choose favorable time for his lectures.

We wish you all the best Henry Suubi.
