Makerere Dominates 4th Uganda Dialogue Arena Debate Competition

The best four debating groups and best female debater are to get a fully paid trip to the East African Community Assembly in Arusha while the top three were awarded with trophies.

Best male speaker of the event was Murangira Urban from KIU and Kanyesigye Ednah from Kyabomgo University emerged best female debater.

Frederick T Musiimenta, the CEO and founder UDA  congratulated the winners and commended all young people to always grab at such opportunities which will develop their confidence and knowledge to take an active role in issues affecting their societies.

“Uganda is largely dominated by young people who are the future. Even these young people are left out in the economics, political and policy planning of this country and yet they are the most affected group, we want to encourage them to take a positive role in influencing the future of this country” he said
