About DII:

Development Initiatives International (DII) is a Ugandan registered indigenous Non-Governmental Organization with whose slogan is Enhancing development through integrated programs. DII seeks to find the most cost effective way of providing services by being responsive to community needs, building on existing resources and fostering complimentary and collaborative partnerships. Currently we provide workplace based HIV services for the informal economy workers.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The Laboratory Assistant should hold a certificate in laboratory technology from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in conducting HIV tests at both static and outreaches sites and conversant with rapid HIV testing methodologies.
