The deceased is identified as Mugalu Paul who was in his second year pursuing a Bachelor of Bachelor of Science Technology (Biology) at Kyambogo University.

According to the office of Dean of students, he was found dead in his room at St Mary’s Hostel, Banda on the evening of 2nd May, 2023.

The University Medical Centre staff were informed and the University ambulance was used to pick the body from the hostel to the City Mortuary at Mulago hospital.

The exact cause of death is yet to be revealed.

Burial is scheduled to take place today 4th May, 2023 in his ancestral home in Kisaasi, Kikulu Zone, Kikaya Parish, Kawempe division, Kampala district. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
