Kyambogo University 3rd-Year (finalist) Student Dies

Kyambogo University Department of IT and computer science lost their third year student Adruf Watanda who was pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information technology and computing.

Adruf Watanda a 3rd-year student (finalist) at Kyambogo University died on 6/09/2019 after experiencing a severe headache. He was pursuing a Bachelor of Information Technology and Computing in the Academic Year 2018/19 from the Department of Computer Science.

According to the information received, Adruf was suffering from malaria and he was on treatment. It’s believed that the situation worsened hence to death.

Some of his lecturers from Department of Computer Science Kyambogo University said “Adruf was a very humble and intelligent student whom they will miss”

The body of Adruf Watanda was taken and buried at his burial grounds at Bulanga on 7/09/2019. “May His Soul Rest In Eternal Peace”
