Kisoro Tourist Hotel Boss Found Dead in Toilet

The Police in Kisoro are investing the circumstances surrounding the death of John Musenga, 61, the manager of Kisoro Tourist Hotel.

Kigezi Regional Police spokesperson Elly Maate said: “Musenga was a resident of Rushambya village, Kirigine ward, southern division, Kabale municipality in Kabale district.”

The case was reported by Annet Mugisha, an employee at the hotel and a resident of Kisoro Hill, central division in Kisoro district.

It is alleged that in the morning hours of August 3, Musenga was found dead on the toilet seat. He was leaning against the wall with blood oozing from his nose.

Maate said the Police were notified, and the scene was visited and examined.

“The canine section was introduced to the scene, but could not move away from the body. The body was forwarded to Kisoro Hospital mortuary for for a post-mortem examination, which revealed Musenga died of natural causes,” Maate stated.
