University Football LeagueKampala International University (KIU) Vs Makerere University Business School (MUBS) match abandoned in 61st minute.

After MUBS had scored in 61st minute, MUBS fans entered the pitch in celebration. As pitch was clearing, a KIU football player was seen to be on the ground surrounded by other players and it was alleged that he was injured.

Other KIU players also said they had been injured and they could not continue with the match because of security concerns.

Players of Kampala International University walked off the pitch and left Makerere University Business School grounds soon after.

MUBS was leading the tie 2-0 on aggregate at the time.

League Officials will make a decision on the matter after receiving the referee’s report.
