Kabale University to offer new courses in Medicine

Kabale University Management together with the National Council for Higher Education Delegates Posing for a Group.

Kabale university has announced plans to start offering new medical related courses under the School of Medicine for the Academic Year 2015/2016.

The academic registrar says the new courses include Master of Medicine in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Master of Medicine in Paediatrics and Master of Public Health.

Other new courses are:

  • Diploma in Anaesthesia (Undergraduate)
  • Diploma in Dentistry (Undergraduate)

Micro-finance Management course at certificate level in the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, Department of Economics & Business Studies is also a new one at offer.

The registrar says the certificate course will go for a period of seven weeks and candidates should posses an O’level Certificate of Education or its equivalent to qualify for admission.

Kabale university is the newest private university to be chartered by the government of Uganda.
