Job Title: Revenue Accountant

Uganda Investment Authority (UIA), set up under the investment Code 1991 is a statutory agency mandated to initiate and support measures that enhance investment in Uganda and to advise Government on appropriate policies conducive for investment promotion and growth.

Job Summary:
The Revenue Accountant will primarily be responsible   for monitoring of accounts payable and receivable in conformity with the UIA financial policies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the proper coding and reconciliation of all individual client accounts.
  • Identify and resolve all discrepancies identified in revenue reconciliations.
  • Create, review and maintain monthly client invoices.
  • Monitoring, collecting and resolving accounts receivable aging items.
  • Assist in the processing of daily cash receipts, as necessary.
  • Prepare timely monthly revenue reports
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Deputy Director
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in the field of Accounting.
  • At least two years’ experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting packages
