Job Title: Sales Executive

The Motorcenter East Africa Ltd started as Go Nissan Ltd in 2005 as a dealership for Nissan vehicles and Suzuki motorcycles. The 3-S dealership with sales, service and showroom facilities had a mandate to promote and manage the Nissan brand in the Entebbe area. By mid 2006, the Entebbe market was saturated and as part of the growth strategy it was decided to expand our product and geographical mandate. We sourced for brands that would bring value for money to our market, and entered into distributor agreements with manufacturers in China and Thailand.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute customer orientation through proposals.
  • Search for and contact customers
  • Assist identify customer needs
  • Provide technical advice/tailored solutions to customers
  • Motivate customers to make a purchase
  • Resolve concerns and complaints
  • Attain customer loyalty
  • Organize own work duties and schedules: use computer sales tools, plan agendas, plan visits and follow ups, coordinate sales processes with other dealer departments, etc.
  • Engage in negotiation and closing: identify buying signals, prepare strategies, determine appropriate pricing, use negotiation tips/closing techniques, solve problems, etc.

Qualification, Skills and Experience:

  • The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Marketing or related degree from a recognized university.
  • Excellent communication Skills
  • Excellent customer care
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent analytical, planning and implementation skills.

Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development.
