Job Title: Revenue Assurance Manager

NFT Consult, a leading HR Consultancy firm, seeks to recruit for it valuable client, Smile Communications (U) Ltd is a leading ISP in Uganda offering 4G LTE super-fast, high quality and reliable internet access services. NFT Human Resource Solutions are customer tailored per industry requirements and are geared towards increased cost savings, process improvement leading to improved efficiency and effectiveness yet simultaneously strengthening quality and control of resources.

Job Summary: The role of the Revenue Assurance Manager is to ensure revenue and cost optimisation i.e. analysing opportunities for loss/fraud across the entire business and working to design and implement loss/ leakage controls and fraud prevention and detection programs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive revenue assurance and fraud prevention policies and procedures.
  • Recommend and implement fraud prevention systems and process enhancements
  • Carry out reconciliation of revenue streams, Call data records, billing traffic to ensure their integrity
  • Offer leadership, direction in protection of assets to avoid financial loss and prevention of fraud throughout the company
  • Validate the accuracy of reporting and use the data to periodically update the policies and procedures
  • Investigate customer complaints of airtime theft and recommend actions to be taken
  • Work closely with all other departments and other finance team to design, develop and implement best practices to assess, manage and prevent fraud.
  • Document revenue flows and monitor the same.
  • Develop business continuity planning approach, design tools and process to minimise business interruption and revenue loss due to disasters, sabotage and, network crashes and downtime
  • Monitor and block unauthorised airtime transfers, and unauthorised call routing.
  • Continuously work to understand and mitigate revenue loss to ensure high levels of loss avoidance.
  • Monitoring potential revenue leakage and inflated costs exposures inherent in interconnect trading environments
  • Testing of changes made to revenue generating software platforms to ensure potential revenue leakage exposures are addressed before operational deployment

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Revenue Leakage maintained within set limits
  • Revenue Reconciliation Reporting
  • System Access logs
  • Documentation of revenue flow for each revenue stream.
  • Fraud log update and follow up on issues to conclusion
