Landell Mills are currently implementing a DFID funded programme: AgriTT (Working in Partnership to Accelerate Agricultural Technology Transfer). One of the three components of the AgriTT programme is the implementation of two Pilot Development Projects, one in Malawi and the other in Uganda.
The AgriTT project builds on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed between the Department for International Development (DFID), Ministry of Agriculture (MOA, China) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industries and Fisheries (MAAIF, Uganda) in Beijing in November 2012 where the parties agreed to work together on agricultural technology transfer to promote food security.
The Uganda Pilot Development Project for AgriTT will bring together Chinese, Ugandan and UK partners to support further development of cassava production, productivity and value addition in Uganda.
