Jobs – Power Technicians at Camusat

Job Title: Power Technicians (Several Vacancies)

Camusat Uganda Limited is a registered company which is primarily responsible for the maintenance of passive infrastructure and power of telecommunication networks in Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for refueling of telecom sites.
  • In charge of the maintenance and servicing of Generators & other equipment on sites.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of automation system.
  • In charge of the maintenance of AC and DC power equipment
  • Maintenance and monitoring of power supply on sites.
  • Quickly attending to call outs
  • Performing repairs & installation of equipment as may be deemed necessary.
  • Site cleanliness & ensuring all equipment are in good working condition.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The candidate must hold a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least two to three years’ experience in Electrical or Mechanical field
  • Computer Literacy skills
  • Excellent communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • High level of Integrity

He Participated in The New Dawn photography campaign aimed at rebranding Northern Uganda-USAID/NUTI Project (2010). Philimon is in love with photography, writing, reading, sharing new ideas and interacting with reasonable people for skills development.
