World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is one of the world’s largest independent and experienced Conservation organizations operating in over 100 Countries in the world. WWF Uganda Country Office (UCO) implements a number of national programmes promoting environment conservation in Uganda.

Job Summary: The M & E Officer will be responsible for the review and implementation of the Monitoring & Evaluation strategy, systems of WWF UCO Conservation Programmes in line with the WWF M & E guidelines

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s (honors) degree in statistics or demography or qualitative economics with a formal qualification in monitoring and evaluation.
  • Two or more years’ experience in Log Frame Approach in planning, monitoring and evaluation in Environmental and Natural Resource Management and energy related programmes; application of qualitative and quantitative M&E methods; with a reputable international NGO
  • Key personal competences in working with teams and communication skills, networking and partnership skills. Must be dynamic, persuasive & convincing, self- motivated and able to demonstrate high initiative. (5) Knowledge of common Statistical analysis and database management packages Ms Access, Ms Excel, STATA, SPSS, EPiDATA
