Job Title: HR & Administration Officer

The Cooper Motor Corporation (CMC) Uganda Limited is a multi-franchise Automotive Dealer offering Sales and After Sales Services for transportation vehicles, Agricultural Equipment and, Construction Machinery.

Job Summary: The HR & Administration Officer will support the Manager in executing HR & Administration functions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The jobholder will be the primary point of contact for all HR-related queries
  • Update and maintain an effective personnel information system to ensure accurate and up-to-date staff records
  • Administer HR related documentation such as leave forms and recruitment contracts.
  • Render support in the recruitment, training, performance appraisal and other HR Related activities
  • Supervise cleaners and ensure a clean, healthy and safe work environment
  • Process licenses and other related documents in order to ensure compliance with legislature
  • Ensure that correspondences from the office of HR & Administration Manager are properly and timely distributed

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The candidate should preferably hold an Honours Degree in Human Resources Management or related Arts fields
  • A Diploma in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage
  • At least three to five years; experience in a corporate or busy HR Office.
  • Excellent communication Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal relations
  • Possess the ability to work with minimum supervision
