Job Tittle: Front Desk Assistant
Organization: National Medical Stores
Reports to: Human Resource Management Officer
Salary Scale: Grade 7

Duty Station: Entebbe, Uganda

Job Summary: The Front Desk Officer will conduct reception service and telephone switchboard operation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive, record bookings and make outgoing calls
  • Maintain records and verify telephone bills before forwarding for payment processing
  • Receiving all incoming calls and route them to relevant personnel, attend to routine inquiries and record all messages received in line with NMS customer care guidelines
  • Maintain the front desk office infrastructure in line with front office desk management practices
  • Receive customers/visitors to corporation and guide them to relevant offices in line with NMS customer Care guidelines

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant should hold a Diploma in Secretarial Studies or in Business Administration
  • Computer literacy a requirement
  • Able to communicate effectively, especially verbally
  • At least two years post qualification experience
  • Should have under taken training in Customer Care.
