Job Title: Graduate Trainee
ActionAid is an International Development Agency working in over 50 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. ActionAid’s mission is to work with the poor and the ActionAid Uganda (AAU), a national development organization registered under the laws of Uganda and with a local Board seeks to recruit suitably qualified, self-driven, result-oriented individuals to fill the position above.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review past reports and extract data on various indicators for entry into the MIS
- Enter program data into the MIS on a regular basis and update the online MIS
- Technically support LRP and program staff with validation of data
- Analyze data and extract reports on a monthly basis
- Actively participate in field data generation and validation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should preferably possess a Bachelor’s degree in Demography, Statistics; Economics, project planning or any other relevant field.
- Data entry and analysis skills
- Skills in database programing and improvement
- Project conceptualization skills
- Computer literacy skills i.e. Proficiency in M&E
- Good report writing skills
