Job Title: Credit Manager

Bayport Financial Services is a leading Non-Deposit Taking Credit Institution and an equal opportunity employer, with operations in several African countries.  We are currently recruiting for the following positions for the Uganda Operations that are based at Head Office and our various Regional Offices.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review collection analysis and risk management processes and tools, and offer guidance and mentorship to Departmental and Field staff in line with Bayport Uganda’s lending policies and procedures.
  • Management of Bayport Financial Services’ asset performance, and in charge of the development and structure of the full credit chain from originations, underwriting, account processing, collections, rehabilitation, and delinquency management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The Credit Manager should hold a Business degree at Master’s level in economics, finance or business administration.
  • At least eight (8) years’ post qualification experience with 3 years in a management position running a Credit and Collections department preferably in the Commercial Banking or Financial Services Industry environment.
