The company provides consultancy services in the following areas: Financial Management, Human Resource Development, Organisational Development and Project Management.
About SunnyMoney:
Our client SunnyMoney is a fast-growing social enterprise owned by British charity SolarAid that aims to enable the world’s poorest people to have access to clean, renewable power. The mission is to eradicate the use of kerosene for lighting in Africa by the end of this decade.
Job Summary: The Business Development Manager, Trade will assist in delivering the overall SunnyMoney mission through achievement of sales targets and growth of the SunnyMoney brand and business model in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for sales Growth through building agent and distribution network, team Management, programme development, monitoring and evaluation and reporting
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must have attained a University degree in Business/sales and marketing
- Five or more years’ sales and account management experience
- Past experience working in both a social enterprise and/or private sector
- Good working knowledge of distribution, marketing, sales and business administration.
- Past exposure and experience across distribution channels with a track record of results scaling up a business
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of SunnyMoney
- Past experience in the solar sector (preferable)
- Technology savvy
- Possess a Valid Driving Licence
