Job Title:  Office Typist
Job Summary: The Office Typist will mainly type office work and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of office.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Typing correspondences and office work;
  • Receiving and dispatching mails to various personnel;
  • Cordially receiving telephone calls;
  • Cordially receiving and guiding clients;
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the Office; and
  • Keeping and managing records, office stationery and equipment.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The applicant should hold an Ordinary Level Certificate with at least 2 credits including English language and three (3) passes.
  • Hold a UNEB Certificate or diploma in secretarial studies or equivalent qualifications from a recognized awarding institution with the following subjects: Business Communication Stage I, Typewriting Stage II(40 wpm), Office Practice Stage I, Computer skills using word processing.
Age: Between 20 – 45 years

NB: For those already in service, applications should be routed through your respective Heads of Departments.
  • All applications must bear the title of the post applied for as well as the reference number
  • Only PHOTOSTAT copies of academic certificates and testimonials and NOT originals must be attached to the applications.
  • Passport size photographs (of your current appearance) should be attached on each of the forms for ease of identification.
