Job Title: Learning Support Coordinator (Primary School)

Rainbow International School is one of the leading international schools in Uganda and is a member of the Council of British International Schools. It offers the full English curriculum at all five key stages from Foundation Stage right up to pre-university level.

Rainbow International Primary School, Kampala follows the National Curriculum for England and uses the International Primary Curriculum for the delivery of the foundation subjects. We are a lively and inclusive school with a very active calendar of events, inter-school and house sport and after school clubs.
Job Summary:
The Learning support department consists of two EAL and three SEN teachers. The Learning Support Coordinator will oversee assessment and ensure adequate provision for each child in accordance with school policy and individual needs. Children are supported through both class support and withdrawal. The role includes either SEN or EAL teaching depending on the particular strengths and experience of the successful candidate.
