Job Title: Office Messenger
The National Drug Authority (NDA) is an autonomous body which was established by the National Drug Policy and Authority Act Cap 206 , Laws of Uganda (2000 Edition) to regulate Human and Veterinary Medicines and other healthcare products. NDA’s mandate is to ensure quality, safety and efficacy of human and veterinary medicines and other healthcare products through the regulation and control of their production, importation, distribution and use.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Distribute mails and other documents internally to various offices
- Pick mail from post office and other locations within NDA and outside as instructed by supervisor
- Maintain a record of all transactions for tracking and reference
- Conduct photocopying, scanning and organizing documents
- Assist in mail handling processes
- Run errands between offices as required by the supervisor
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Office Messenger position should hold an “A” Level certificate with a pass in English& Mathematics at “O” level.
- At least five years’ experience in a similar position in a reputable organization
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Possess the ability to ride a motorcycle with a valid license.
- Willingness to take instructions
- Additional training in records management
