Job Title: Female Resident Tutor
The African Rural University for Women provides transformational education to create effective change agents within an African development context. ARU applies theoretical learning, innovative instruction, and field practice, so that ARU graduates can create conditions for people to improve their lives, transform their communities, awaken inherent leadership and increase their capacity for self- generating and sustainable change.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize academic seminars and tutorials for students.
- Offer guidance and counseling to students
- Responsible for all University research and publications
- Technically support the students to uphold the student’s code of conduct.
- Promote health and safety of resident students at all times
- Supervise student research projects
- Promote the safety of students at all times.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should hold a Bachelor degree in Education, Guidance and counseling or social Science preferable first class or second upper.
- Two or more years of related experience
- Good research skills
- Counseling and guidance skills
- Computer literacy skills
