Margaret Thatcher Fund was formed in 1999 to advance the cause of political and economic freedom for all. Drawing on Lady Thatcher’s worldwide standing and expertise, we raised funds and helped to finance projects promoting Business enterprise, legal, and technical education, particularly in Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America and Sub- Saharan African Countries. We have collaborated with charities, international donors including DFID,EU,NORAD,USAID,DANIDA IMF, WORLD BANK ,Universities, and Individuals & Major International Companies to raise fund to implement project aiming at poverty eradication, democracy & women empowerment.
We place special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. We seek a world of hope, tolerance and social justice, where poverty has been overcome and people live in dignity and security.
Job Summary:
The Administrative Officer will be primarily responsible for providing effective secretarial support and performing routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting letters and reports, drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining files, retrieving documents as well as synchronizing and updating the office diary.
