Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Nkumba University is a private chartered University. The University is strengthening its management and administrative systems to enhance both policy initiation and implementation through assigning extra responsibilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare communication and other documents
- Process mail and other correspondences
- Prepare presentations especially power point presentations
- Oversee office/departmental internet communication
- Arrange departmental meetings
- Work closely with other university departments
- Oversee departmental staff records
- Process all external correspondences
- Manage confidential records in the department/ office
- Offer information/ data for decision making
- Cordially receive visitors in the office/department
- Perform any other responsibility assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for Administrative Assistant position should hold a Bachelor’s Degree
- At least two years’ administrative experience
- Integrity & Leadership skills
- Creativity & Innovativeness
- Excellent planning skills
- Financial knowledge and skills
- Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills
- ICT Skills
Age limit: 30 – 45 years
