Ndejje University is a private, multi-campus, Christian university in Uganda, the third-largest economy in the East African Community. Ndejje Universitywas established in 1992 under the Name and Style of “The Christian Universityof East Africa” under the pioneer-ship and ownership of Professor Reverend Doctor Sams Kironde Kigozi.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Public Relations Officer will be the Official Spokesperson of the University
  • Actively monitor and ensure best practices in the University
  • In charge of developing a databank for external stakeholders of the University.
  • Monitor and Manage the University’s media coverage and relations.
  • In charge of ensuring and maintaining the academic institution’simage and identity
  • Write press releases and organize press conferences

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate for Public Relations Officer Vacancy should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism or related field from a reputable Institution. Possession of a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations or related field from a reputable Institution.
  • Professional certification in a similar field would be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of five years relevant working experience in a reputable organization in a similar position.
