Over the years, the Bank has grown and spread its wings into Tanzania, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi completing the East African circuit in the year 2012. Today, the Group has the largest branch network in the region with over 238 branches, 950 ATMs and 8,000 agents offering banking services on a 24/7 basis in East Africa. KCB Bank Uganda was established in the year 2007 and has grown to become one of Uganda’s top ten commercial banks. Currently KCB Bank Uganda has 14 branches complemented with 16 ATMs spread on Kampala Road, Commercial Plaza, Ben Kiwanuka, Luwum Street, Oasis Mall Sixth Street, Arua, Elgon Masaba, Fort Portal, Gulu, Hoima, Lira, Mbarara and Jinja that offer trade financing, corporate and retail banking services to customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·         The incumbent will disseminate trade finance knowledge across the Bank network to enable business growth through Trade Finance products.
·         Offer product technical support to the business and customers to enhance cross selling and structuring of Trade deals.
·         Follow up resolution of trade Finance service related issues to ensure excellent customer service and TAT.
·         Work closely with Head of Retail and Head of operations, institute measures to mitigate against identified Trade Finance related risks.
·         Support branches to adopt to new procedures as per Head Officecirculars relating to Trade Finance.
·         Ensure growth of Bank revenue and Trade Finance through driving Trade Finance sales across the Bank in order to achieve the Bank’s overall profitability goals.
·         Regularly review the Bank’s Trade revenue collection in order to ensure all income leakages are closed.
·         Constantly review our Trade offering and pricing in comparison to the market and develop strategies, new products or initiatives to enhance competitiveness.
·         Develop a Trade Finance portfolio to deliver sustainable growth of Trade Finance business.
·         Support business in the closure of any audit findings within the Trade Finance domain.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·         The ideal candidate must hold a good Bachelor’s Degree
·         Credit Skill Development(CSD),
·         Any Trade Finance accreditation
·         A minimum of six years’ banking experience
·         At least two years’ hands on experience in People Management,
·         Three years’ experience in Trade Sales,
·         A minimum of two years’ experience Trade sales and 1 years’ experience in credit processes.
·         Excellent planning and organizing capabilities;
·         Strong oral and written communication skills;
·         Analytical with attention to detail
·         Strong work ethic (Discipline and efficiency)
·         Excellent interpersonal skills (Team player)
·         Strong self-drive
·         Working knowledge of policies and procedures
