Job Title:      IT/Data Entry Assistant (Fresher Job Opportunities)

Organisation: Action for Health Uganda (A4HU)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

Reports to: Project Manager Programs

About US:

Action for Health Uganda (A4HU) is a youth empowerment organization dedicated to mainstream young peoples’ engagement in socio-economic development and promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and rights (SRHR). A4HU was registered in October 2017 as a new entity to take over the operations of DSW (Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevoelkerung) in Uganda. For the past 18 years DSW has supported the implementation of a portfolio of projects to improve sexual and reproductive health of young people in Uganda.

Job Summary:  The IT/Data Entry Assistant is responsible for IT processes (70% based in field office; 30% at A4HU HQ);

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Services computers, printers and photocopiers
  • Responsible for data management (cleaning & entry), including ensuring disaggregation of data in the database.
  • Maintaining a list of direct beneficiaries.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
  • Two years of experience working in related job.
  • Hands on/practical computer knowledge.
