About DII:

Development Initiatives International (DII) is a Ugandan registered indigenous Non-Governmental Organization with whose slogan is Enhancing development through integrated programs. DII seeks to find the most cost effective way of providing services by being responsive to community needs, building on existing resources and fostering complimentary and collaborative partnerships. Currently we provide workplace based HIV services for the informal economy workers.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The Counselor should hold a certificate in HIV/AIDS counseling from recognized institution.
  • At least two years’ experience in HIV and AIDS counseling, knowledgeable about national HCT protocols, conversant with innovative patient referral and linkages approaches,
  • Have a pro-active approach and a flexible work attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Age: Below 30 years
