Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS) is a German non-profit foundation engaged in project work worldwide promoting sustainable agricultural development, in particular in coffee producing countries.
For its regional office in Kampala-Uganda, HRNS AF is recruiting a Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator. The purpose of the position is to provide technical guidance, coordination and management of all M&E activities in Uganda.
Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager the main responsibilities of the Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator will be the following:
• Implement monitoring & evaluation systems to track performance and achievement of objectives.
• Maintain and update a program database system and ensure data quality.
• Liaise with external organizations providing M&E development support to HRNS.
• Manage field staff involved in M&E activities and assess the need for further capacity development.
• Organize, coordinate and supervise field assessments and surveys. • Analyze collected data and write M&E reports.
Qualifications and requirements
• At least a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and a minimum 7 years of experience in similar positions.
• Familiarity with project work in rural Uganda is of advantage.
• Demonstrated coordination of M&E activities and management skills.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools are essential, skills in SurveyCTO and Tableau are of advantage
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
