Jeff Kiwa Didn’t Make Me, We Helped Each Other – Sheebah

Famed artistes’ manager Jeff Kiwa is adamant he built Sheebah Karungi’s resume.  She thinks otherwise.

If you cared to listen to him, he will tell you he discovered her, built her, gave her the platform, skills and experience, treated her like a queen, and now she has erased that history.

Before her major breakthrough song, Ice Cream, Sheebah Karungi had tried her luck with the Obsessions group but not much had been achieved musically.

With Jeff Kiwa on her management, she made Ice Cream and whole lot of other bangers in the following years.

In 2021, Sheebah quit Jeff Kiwa’s Team No Sleep over undisclosed matters. They have since not been on talking terms.

The irony is that in 2018, lauded Jeff Kiwa as the greatest manager of all time in Uganda.

Then, she made her feelings known on social media about Jeff, who, at the time, faced a backlash.

She went on and appreciated Jeff for spotting her talent and playing a major key role in turning around her music career that had stagnated.

A big star was born just like the likes of Radio and Weasel who also gained their fame under Jeff Kiwa’s guidance.“My journey with that gentleman was good. Like any other partnership, you reach a point and it ends and you have to move on,” Sheebah noted.
